Sunrise

Sunrise at 5:52am over the Croatia islands, some stars are still visible. The road to the top of the hill was quite entertaining, it was completely dark and I had only one head flashlight and the batteries went off in the middle of the road. Photo was taken with my old 500D and kit lens 18-55. Instead of my tripod I used mountain rock :D You can see more landscape images here.

Sophie

The happiest day of my life. Sophie was born, 9.8.2013, 3.3kg 50cm at 12:05.

Family first, so I will take a short break from shooting sports to enjoy this moment in life.

Light Painting for 3 bucks

I bought this light painting kit on LinkDelight my favorite Hong Kong photo accessories store for $2,85 !! Shipping free :) So I was wondering if it will really works. To my surprise it worked, and we had fun trying to draw some letters and hearts. The batteries cannot be replaced, but that was expected for this price :) Here are the results.

Harvest season

Just when I came back from work, they started to harvest our wheat field in Medlanky, I grabbed a camera and run back to the field to make some stock pictures. Unfortunately some of them got rejected due to trademark. Damn harvesters.

Portrait photoshoot with Katka and Veronika

We spent Saturday morning with Katka and Veronika and did a portrait shoot with only the window light and one reflector. It was a bright day and the result was great.

Rogue flash

First test of my new Rogue Flash bender.

I used Rogue soft box with Rogue Flash Bender - on the main flash and blue Rogue Flash gel on the second flash that was directed on the window with sun-blinds.

And a little bit of matrix effect in Ps, some people actually thought it was a tv ;)

Sunset backlight

Even though it is not recommended to shoot towards sun, sometimes it can bring nice results with very soft images. On the second image, look deep into the eye ;)

Sunset water drops

Short sunset trip to Nove Mlyny to help Toopy during the summer extreme temperatures. We had lot of fun and she enjoy it quite well. I was waiting for this shot for some time, as it is hard to predict when she burrs the water of herself, but then finally get this picture with golden drops.

Second win of Czech girls on WU20WC. The final standing of the Czech team at the end of the championship was 11th place.

Women's U20 World Championship

Women's U20 World Championship started in Brno. Matches were scheduled in Vodova and Kajot arena. This one is from Vodova and the light conditions were quite challenging. This is from match Russia vs Mexico.

Gourmania 2013

This photo reportage was quite delicious. I shot the venue for friend of mine and OnePR agency in Brno. 6-course menu from Mr. Zdeněk Polreich.
