Seems like sport gods left Brno today, after Brno lost in rugby, Kometa lost their 3rd match in playoff just one minute before the match ended. An unlucky day for all the fans in sold out Kajot arena, and .... for me too actually, guess what, this was my shot when Plzen scored their winning goal:
I think this must have happened to every sport photographer at least once in their career ..... or even twice or more. Grrrr....the refs!
Speaking of luck, it didn't leave me completely. My camera was hit by the puck!!!!! Ok, not the actual camera, but the lens hood :D It flew off like a bird. You can see it in the video (forward to 2:25:39). The guys were so nice and brought it to me, on the stick of course :) In the end, I was quite lucky it didn't hit the lens or the camera ..uffff.
