Having fun with tiny planets

Last year I saw pictures of tiny planets and since then I have wanted to make my own. The time has come :) I googled the tutorial and tried to create my first Tiny planet. It is very ease and fun to do. There are actualy only 3 steps you need to follow. It works best with panorama image or any other with solid bottom of the image. Here are the steps :

STEP 1  - Resize and rotate
Open your image in Photoshop select Image - Image Size uncheck link between height and width and set the “height” to the same value as your “width”. Next, rotate the image 180 degrees (Image - Image rotation - 180 degrees)

STEP 2 - Apply the polar filter - next step is to apply Polar filter. Go to Filter - Distort > Polar Coordinates  and select the “Rectangular to Polar” setting.

STEP 3 - Rotate and clean up
Now you need to clean up the picture a little bit or you can rotate it to your liking. If the left side and right side had different tone, you will get a straight line in the picture. You can clean it up with stamp tool or just use mirror and mask.

Here are the images I created yesterday :) I hope you like them.
